The American Dream. In the 1950's that consisted of a family with 2.5 kids, a house with a white picket fence, and the freedom to pursue happiness. Today The American Dream is to be left alone by the government.
Big brother. The conspiracy theorists finally got one right for a change. The government has finally overstepped their boundaries in response to the 2013 decision to repeal DOMA. Now with a new president in office who's more like a tyrant, and in an attempt to uphold the sanctity of marriage, big brother has implemented the lottery system. Strangers are being chosen to wed and divorce has become damn near impossible to achieve. Women are being given fertility treatments, and gays are being forced back into the closet they fought so hard to escape.
The Children of Cain. Not everyone is on board with the new game plan. There are some who have become the voice to the voiceless and they will stop at nothing until freedom has been restored. By any means necessary.
