A GAME OF THRONES AU GROUP PSL
Greetings from the Seven Kingdoms! We are recruiting players for a plot-heavy Game of Thrones group PSL on InsaneJournal, and we the mods (as well as the players) are seeking commited writers for a variety of main roles including but not limited to; Eddard, Robb, Sansa, Bran, Joffery, Brienne, Jorah, Asha, Davos, Lancel, Littlefinger, Gendry, the Hound and many others, including original characters!
The basic premise of this AU is that when Robert Baratheon and Rhaegar Targaryen met on the trident it was the stag who was struck down and the dragon prince that prevailed in his place, thus changing the lay of the land, so to speak. The game is set in the same year as the books begin, with almost all of the same characters, though certain characters have been aged up in keeping with the television series.
The game started on June 11th and both the mods and players are very helpful and more than willing to talk plot with new and old players alike! There is lots of room for individual lines as well as a lot of group plot spurred and supported by the mods, who are available to help drum up plot for characters that are struggling to find interaction.
Due to privacy reasons we have elected to keep this game friends-locked, so interested players please comment here or on this entry, and we'll friend the journal you respond with so you can see the rest of the information posted on the mod journal.

 Phoenix is a city in the desert of Arizona. To outside eyes the place is just another college town with it's beautiful mountains and picturesque desert landscapes, but not everything is as it seems. Phoenix has secrets.
It has drawn quite the supernatural crowd - the Were's like it because of the vast nature areas surrounding it, the Vampire's like it because nights are cool and they have many places to set up home, and humans love it for the Arizona State College as well as the active night life. The world has become acquainted with Vampires and Weres, but not everyone has quite gotten used to living with them as neighbors.
Here the population has settled into an uneasy peace - the Vampires can be vicious, cruel creatures. The Weres can be unpredictable and territorial, and the humans are left in the middle. Not belonging to either group, but trying to find their own way in the world. It's life as you know it, spiced up with a dash of supernatural mayhem and fun.

The Devil tempts all Men
"My intention is not to offend anyone, but... you have all been wrong. You apply human science to everything, but not everything is of a human nature. There are things that lie well beyond your realm of explanation and understanding, and quite frankly, they always will. For they have been present in this world, for longer than your earliest ancestors."

With those words, centuries of careful concealment have been unraveled. The underground world of the supernaturals has been brought to light, and very much against their will. The year is 2056, the place is Amsterdam. The capital, and largest city in the Netherlands has become the unofficial home of the Supernatural world. Not only is the local government controlled by wealthy non-humans, but it also happens to be a willing host to those humans who do not shy away from the wicked, but instead embrace it. This harmonic unison is shaken when a demon named Pruflas takes it upon himself to expose the entire world to their kind, simply to combat his own boredom. Residence in Amsterdam steadily find themselves under the judgmental eyes of the world, as well as the terrorism some people are willing to enact, in a desperate attempt to protect the human population from these monsters. The world has come to a precipice, either they will be accepted, destroyed, or they will take the throne, and rule over those below them. Some want peace, others war, and then there are those who have yet to take a stand. Either way, no one will be left unaffected.
What will they do? Will they burrow deeper into the shadows, in hopes of keeping themselves hidden from the masses of humans who don't understand them, and who don't want them there? Or will courage flourish, and will they show themselves to the world, and insist on living side by side with their sometimes prey? What will they do? What would you do?
We accept, and are looking for a wide range of supernatural beings. Particularly, humans and demons are wanted at this time. Old and new characters alike are welcome. Have an older character you're itching to play again, and want to hash out? Bring them to us. Or maybe you're not sure what, or who you want to play, or you don't want to come into a game with no ties. There are numerous wanted characters, check the page for a bit of muse like inspiration.
