Kora was not anticipating this today; their oracles are often unreliable at best, and as far as she knows, nothing like this was read in the signs. Perhaps they were only having an off day, but she makes a mental note to tell her brother once this is all over- and she does progress with the confidence that suggests she thinks it will be fine.
It's worth noting that a lot of people think Kora is both creepy and batshit insane.
She comes down a stairwell into the courtyard just as the zombie starts to get up again, this time moving much, much quicker. Kora has a tiny silver knife in her hand, and she uses it on not the zombie, but the edge of one fingertip, slicing the pad of her thumb. It's enough to send earth crumbling up in front of the zombie, knocking him back onto his side, twitching.
"Move," she calls, tone strangely bland considering what just happened.
She's pretty sure she'll pay for that later. It's too public.
