It was impossible not to appear annoyed at the sudden shift in conversation and Aidan lifted his face up toward the ceiling with a sigh. The shit he was going through had been happening a lot longer than 'lately'. And did his father honestly think Aidan wanted to talk about any of it?
"Sorry," Aidan said simply, standing up from the chair he had occupied when he first arrived. "I don't really feel like having some corny heart to heart talk with my old man. I've got shit to do." He thumbed toward the exit. "But you can tell Olly he can come back now."
