Olly's brows raised at the flare of anger he smelled off the kid. Damn. Yeah, Aidan had been surly since he started high school, but it was getting worse rather than better as he got older. He'd been trying to puzzle out if it was just teenage angst or something deeper, but hadn't wanted to corner the boy. "I'm gonna take this plate back to Rosie," he suggested. "I need to talk to her about something anyway." They'd probably assume it was some errand Shiva had sent him on.
Stopping, he caught Trick's eyes and then nodded his head towards Aidan. His friend needed to talk to his kid. So he was making himself scarce. Especially since he did actually need to talk to Rosie.
