Patrick knew that it might not be a big deal to Aidan, but that didn't make it any less of an important event to his father. Rosie meant the world to him and he wanted to celebrate their eighteenth wedding anniversary with something big. So a renewal was the best way to do it. All their friends and family were going to be gathered around anyway, so it was only right to make a big ceremony of it.
He arched his brow at his son. He hadn't been doing a whole lot of anything over the summer. He was curious as to why. "Fun needs to get off its' ass and start getting with the program," he said.
