Aidan knew his dad wasn't expecting to see him at the shop that morning, but it hadn't stopped him from deciding to pop in anyway. It was summer, so Aidan was kind of bored, and he had awhile before he needed to be at the bar to help out his mom. He supposed he could have slept in some, but the headache raging from his lingering hangover had made it impossible to do much more than toss and turn in his bed.
Since all of his friends were no doubt still asleep or passed out, Aidan realized he would need to find something to do to occupy his time until he had firmer plans.
Pulling open the door to the tattoo shop, Aidan stepped inside, immediately spotting his dad with Olly. He caught the tail end of their conversation and started toward them. "What's going on?" he asked, moving over to flop down in a nearby chair so he could stretch his legs.
