Adrian breathed out when he saw Julian relaxing again. That helped his own quickly risen nerves. And Adrian did want him. But, he'd take him any way he could have him. If it had to be platonic he'd deal, the connection was hitting him far too strong to ignore. Whenever he felt that before, they ended up being someone of considerable importance in his life and he wouldn't allow that to just pass him by, whatever reason he was suppose to be there for. He already considered him, someone special. Having a boyfriend title wasn't needed for that.
Of course Adrian had a date. He wasn't the type to normally be without someone decorating his arm, sharing his bed. But, that didn't mean commitment was in the air. Commitment was a scarce commodity in this demon's life. But, when he bothered to do so, it was with his whole heart. Those were stories that were locked in that little box, along with memories that hurt him so, scars too painful to take out and reminisce if he had any control over them at all. Commitment was the last thing Adrian Marius took for granted. That was where Adrian decided to add one last thought in the pot, "Keep taking it slow Julian, you want to make sure they're the world." He shirked a shoulder and let the subject go, with sincere soft smile.
"I won't. And no rings... just in case, just for you." He smiled then laughed. "I'm altering my outfit just for you... you better show up." He giggled again. He couldn't help it.
"I'm glad you came." Then he ran to the fridge and grabbed Julian a beer and handed it to him. "For the walk home. It's your place next time."
