Julian's fingers crept up to his ear where they caught and tugged, becoming increasingly uncomfortable as the subject turned to his emotions and feelings. He avoided talking about them as much as he could because they made him... weak and he had to be strong, in order to deal with everything in his head and emotions were illogical and... uncontrollable. Although, he'd done well up until this point. He'd been cool, distant and composed. Maybe that chat with Arkady had shaken him more than he'd thought, especially after seeing what he had.
"I think it's too early to say," he admitted. "He's my best friend and I swear he's the only one that actually seems to get what it means to have my sort of power and actually wants to know more about it and me. Even if I'm a prickly sonofabitch when I want to be." His lips curled into a smirk and his head tipped to rest his gaze on Adrian. "Just taking it slow, yoou know? Big step, for the both of us, I'd imagine."
He caught his lower lip for a moment. "Hey, what's it like to live... for pretty much ever?"
