Julian reached over and wrapped his fingers around the neck of the bottle, lifting it to take slow even swallows as he tried to shake the memories of the past. It had been a while since he'd last allowed himself to linger on them it was almost as though he was trying to shake the telltale pinpricks of his mother's fake nails.
As for his true eye colour? Brown for the most part, except for the flecks of green on the outer edges. Nothing spectacular, but they'd seen things that most people couldn't imagine. Some more pleasant than others, the thought of Angel drew another slow sip of beer from Julian. "Hey, shit happens." He cleared his throat and nodded his head. "Yeah and that would've sucked, huh?" He flashed Adrian a slanted smile complete with teeth. A bit uncomfortable at having shared a lot of his less than enjoyable past, Julian reached up to rub at the back of his neck. Adrian's hand was still on his collar, the guy had a penchant for touching, but he just seemed that way inclined. Or so Julian had observed.
"You alright over there?" Julian asked when Adrian went quiet and all slack jawed.
