"A half-mermaid?" She smirked. She had never seen a half before, and wondered what half would be their half-fish. Her mind immediately pictures a quarter-fish person. Everything human but their face; puckered thin fish lips, bulbous eyes, scales. They would make an interested side-show. It took control not to giggle at the image.
Coral bit the corner of her mouth as she contemplated his question. "Beyond swimming? I learn languages quickly and I'm pretty strong, but..."
She looked around as if she were looking for something that would fit her. For all these years she had been on land and learning about the cultures, beyond the sea based ones that she knew, Coral had little idea what was actually part of a carnival or circus and what was just Hollywood. He was giving her a choice though.
"Is there something based in water that is simple? Maybe," she paused again. Her mind filtering through the things she had seen so far and in the Midway.
"Maybe the dunk tank?" She suggested. "I mean I could set it up myself and being dunked during cooler nights wouldn't bother me. And carnivals always have dunk tanks right?" Coral didn't want to suggest anything that was grandiose; she didn't think she had much in the way of talents and the families she had lived with told her that over and over again. Foster families that would take a blue haired child weren't the kindest.
