WHO: Atticus & Pandora
WHAT: Meeting between friends
WHEN: Evening
WHERE: Big-top tent
RATING: Potentially moderate? Two demons together.
STATUS: In progress
It was time for the hypnotism show, Pandora noted (polishing off a candy apple). She enjoyed the sugary-sweetness on her tongue, and enjoyed the way the mortals thought she was just one more cute and innocent little girl, given a night of fun and free reign on her diet...
If only they knew.
The bigtop tent was where all the main acts took place; she'd seen the contortionist before, and the knife-thrower, and the others. But this was supposedly the other demon...she settled down in a seat in the front row, licking her fingers before folding her hands neatly in her lap. And the people that sat around her might think her rapt attention was excitement for the act...
But no, her attention was excitement for the actor.
atticus hadn't been a part of the carnival for very long, this was his third city now and so far he was enjoying it, hell - it was fun making these humans do what he wanted them to do to entertaine him and the patrons in the carnival who were watching his act. tonight, he had a decent audience and he went by the name dante but he hadn't changed his human look since he first got it from a man who'd been sent to hell. what? he wasnt going to need his form anymore. as he walked out in front of the audience, he was wearing a full black suit and a black trench coat, his hair in a faux hawk and a tie and everything. he'd spent the night making a fool out of every person who wanted to be 'hypnotised' and since humans had such weak wills, they were easy to make fools out of. it didn't take much bending to break any wills anymore.
when his show was over, and everyone was gone, he walked out and noticed the little girl still in the stand, making him raise a brow. she 'felt' familiar to him. by familiar meaning he felt vibes from her like he knew her from somewhere. he had a somewhat curious look plastered across his face as he made his way over to where she was, his hands buried inside the pockets of his trench coat as he approached her. "do i know you from somewhere?" he asked her. he was fond of his human form. he'd never get rid of it for another 'meat suit'.
Pandora had watched with avid interest and a growing certainty in her breast; this was Atticus, the Atticus, she knew him. They'd shared a circle together, a long time ago...and so when the show was over, and he approached her, she bounced up and raced towards him, winding her arms around his waist and giving a squeeze.
"When Arkady said Atticus, I didn't think he meant you! I haven't seen you in...hells...what's it been, almost a hundred years??"
he had no idea who this was, but he knew she was somewhat familiar. although when she started to run at him, he took a step back and kept his hands to himself, blinking some as the little girl wrapped her arms around his slender waist. he didn't get it. why was this child hugging him? he didnt like children, especially children that hugged him and bothered him. he was a typical demon, and a typical male for the most part and there was.. a little girl hugging him.
"...what? who're you and why are you hugging mg?" he asked in a typical demon sort of sarcasm as he didn't touch her. he didnt want to because he didnt know who she was and it was.. a child.
"Hmph." Pandora pouted, and pulled away to look up at Atticus, eyes stormy. "After our history, you can't smell it on me? I recognized you, pretty boy, still wearing pretty meat-suits. I'm hurt."
When she pulled away and started on about him, he blinked a little. It only took him a moment though after that to realize who it was and he went wide eyed. "Pandora?" he asked with a questioning face before he let out a laugh. "What the hell? Why are you a child?" he laughed at her again before he moved and wrapped his arms around her, and actually hugged her this time.
"Because she's adorable, of course!" The demoness allowed herself to be hugged, though her brow was still furrowed a little in disappointment. How could he not recognise her? And here she'd thought they'd had a special connection, down in the pit.
"I mean, look at me." She pulled away, and gave a little twirl; her lips quirked up in an entirely un-childlike sardonic grin. "Can you imagine a better body for luring away trusting meatbags?"
