Ophelia hadn't meant to snoop - really, she hadn't. As a matter of fact, she had every intention of sitting down next to Leigh when she saw the girl all by her lonesome, but then she'd seen the shadows. Ophelia knew what Leigh was, or at leas the idea behind it, so she wasn't shocked. It was more that she was in awe. Even at a few yards away, her shape hidden by the shadows that Leigh could control, she watched as the same shadows began to take shape on the tent. They were beautiful and impressive, and also ... frightening.
And that was before she saw the Minotaur take on a life of its own. Ophelia froze, not afraid of the shadow but afraid for Leigh, but within seconds she seemed to have everything under control. So quickly, in fact, that Ophelia nearly wondered if what she'd seen was real or made up.
Sighing, Ophelia finally approached Leigh, her face and hair still done up and accented in dark tones and thick eyeliner. Though she'd changed from the costume, she hadn't yet been able to take off the makeup, which offered a strange contrast to the raggedy jeans and tank-top she wore, despite the chill of winter.
