Olivia would be the first to admit it...she was incredibly lost. Since she'd joined up with the carnival on New Year's Eve, she hadn't had a clue as to what her purpose within the carnival should be. Sioux swore up and down that she'd make a good burlesque dancer, but Liv very much thought that she didn't have the sex appeal for that, no matter how you put it. And there were a thousand and one different things going on and no way to tell just what she'd be good at. And if she was going to be sticking around, she had to find a way to be useful.
The living situation with the carnival had been easy to figure out. Sioux had insisted that Liv stay in her trailer. And being as awkward and smitten as she was...the girl just couldn't say no. Now, that didn't mean that things were easy. In such an enclosed space, Sioux's scent permeated everything all the time. And that wasn't all that helpful. It just made it more than easy to imagine what it would be like to sink her fangs in for a taste. It wouldn't be so bad, would it? After all, the dancer's last boyfriend had been a vampire. Still, Liv didn't ask. And she didn't act on the imaginings that went on inside her mind. She tried to focus on the important thing. Finding herself a job.
That night she'd spent most of her time, as per usual, walking around the midway. Even if she'd been with the carnival for a little while now, that didn't mean that there was a shortage of things to see. No two nights were the same and all. And it was nice to at least try to get to know some of the other people around...not that she'd succeeded. But she was, at least, making the effort. That had to count for something, right? Though once the night was out and things with the carnival had wound down, Liv resolved herself to go and see the ringmaster again. Arkady, though he still intimidated her seemed nice enough. Maybe he would no a good place for her within his carnival.
Her hair was blonde for the evening, though she could very well change it on a whim. Or even because she was nervous. It was second nature to her by then, after all. Brushing a bit of her hair back behind her ear, she raised her hand to knock on the trailer door. Hopefully he'd be there.
