The blonde fell with a choked sound and Leigh twitched, her fingers stretching towards the girl who fell. She was gorgeous, really, with eyes blue as a summer sky and hair that fell like gold over her shoulders. It wasn't even dyed. The girl's voice rang true. She had been waiting. She'd seen these girls, always these girls. Pretty, perfect, fortunate. They'd had everything that she'd wanted. The family. The boys. The money. The love.
Pandora spoke and the shadow covering the girl's mouth became a tendril, slithering down the girl's throat. She began choking, retching, and she doubled over as she heaved violently against the invasion. Pandora continued and Leigh's head straightened, her eyes narrowing, bled over black.
"I can't leave her here. Not here. Somewhere else. The woods. I don't want to leave this place and if we do it here, Arkady might make me leave." she muttered, her hate thrumming inside of her like a sustained note from a plucked string.
