Who: Analeigh and Ty What: Poking around the carnival When: Monday Afternoon Where: The carnival Rating: PG Status: Incomplete
This was unreal. There was no way that Leigh could have described this to anyone. Not and have them believe her. Amidst the sun faded and dusty tents, there were wonders. Maybe it was insane, but she couldn't stop her mind from working, wondering just what each of the performers and carnies were. Were they human like her, with something that made them special like Charlie, or if they were a shapeshifter like Soren? She had no qualms that perhaps there was something even bigger than that. Soren had been vague, but when he'd talked about Arkady as being sort-of-dead, she'd gotten the hint that what she knew or suspected didn't even touch the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
Walking now, through the small Monday crowd, she stepped around a tent to get her bearings. It wasn't that the place was huge, it was just that she wasn't used to being out in the sun. It was amazing to her what a difference being a night owl had made. Taking a deep breath, she took a seat on the ground, glad that the majority of the customers weren't using this as a thoroughfare yet. Glancing over at the space between the tents, she caught sight of someone strange...something she didn't quite believe. Standing up, she followed the figure until she could safely call out.
