Apple turnover and strawberry puff pastry all finished and done, Jessa was more than ready to go on the expedition for pretty things. She had a smile on her face and bit of pep in her step as she walked, wondering just what sort of things they'd find. Of course the goal was something fabulous for them both. Settling for anything less than that would completely defeat the purpose. It wasn't hard to keep up with Babylon, thank goodness. Jessa was rather used to girls who were model tall or guys who had unbelievably long strides. But, for once, those long legs were able to keep up well enough as they walked in the direction of the costume tent.
She hadn't missed the way Babylon looked over at the Haunted House, though she thought better of asking why. At least for now. Getting into other people's business didn't always end well. She'd figured that out well enough for herself on several occasions. "So...what color body paint were you planning on wearing? I'm sorry if you already told me. Sometimes I've got the memory of a goldfish." She tapped her temple, giving a bit of a laugh. The color of the body paint was important to know. It could knock out some potential options for trying things on. And then, of course, Jessa had to complement with whatever she picked out to wear.
