"Everybody has moments. Hell, I have them all the time. Usually cured by cat naps, but I digress...anyway, I'll always be here to tell you what you need to hear. Because you are most definitely fabulous and lovely and wonderful." Compliments were given where they were due when it came to Jessa. She smiled when Babs reached over to give her hand a squeeze. And when Babs leaned on her shoulder, it appealed to her feline sensibilities, though she tried to resist the urge to nuzzle. And man was it hard! But she did.
She was glad to see that the smile on Babs' face was more lively. That tinge of sadness had faded, and that was always something nice to see. "Thanks, darlin. You're a good friend too. And of course we'll be friends for a long time. How could we not be?" The mention of their Halloween act had that smile getting brighter. "You have no idea how excited I am for that. Not that I have any idea what I'm going to wear either..." And unless she wanted to walk on stage nude after shifting back, something to wear would be necessary. The suggestion that they go to the costume trailer was definitely a good one. "Sure, I'll go with you. And you can help me pick out something too?"
Two minds were better than one when it came to that kind of thing, right?
