She smiled back at him, happy to see that he really was alright and not dying with every breath he took. She cleared her throat and eased up a bit herself. Christened, interesting. "I guess you could say that, and no, I haven't actually. Not since I've arrived that is." She smiled again, happy for the introduction. "I'm Sam."
She looked him over and got a good sense from him. She was usually pretty intune with the Spirit, or at least what she had been tought from her parents, the Spirit was. She had begun to believe in the last few years however, that it was just her conscience mixed with a gut feeling. Which she felt was rarely wrong. Her stomach was a great judge of character, and she always knew when a situation wasn't one she needed to participate in. This though, this felt safe. Safe enough at least for now.
She looked to the 'new toy' and threw him another smile. "Looks like fun, where did you get it?" Her eyebrow raised a bit, then she wondered if that was rude. Was she prying? How would he take it.
[Another side note. Had started a thread for the night after their encounter and it'll been revealed in that meeting, about the carnival and all it holds. So maybe in this thread we'll just keep that all hidden. If that's alright, that is.]
