She couldn`t help but smile. He called her dearie, what a lovely greeting. She tilted her head a bit, looking at him with concern. She didn`t believe him, but he seemed to be as interested in being a victim as she did in making him one. Another smirk, he was funny, she liked that. ``Saman... Sam.`` She nodded, not wanting to sound too formal or too childish. Then she wondered, was she even supposed to use that name? Her real name. Or should she have said her stage name. This was proving to be harder than she thought, and it was just an introduction.
``I’m new, just arrived actually,`` as she reached back to point at her car.
She watched him a moment, wondering why he was smoking when he seemed to barely breath properly without it. She wouldn`t make her it business though.
``I`m just trying to figure this place out. I thought maybe you were hurt, I can see now that I was mistaken.`` She was talking weird, almost as if to try harder to get things right. She stood there, not sure what to say next. Worried she`d already bothered him enough, intruded.
