Ashley laughed, "I am not horrible," he said, rolling his eyes a little bit and passing Lucy another ball. "It's the rules of the game, Princess." He grimaced as the laugh pulled on the broken ribs that were hidden underneath his garish shirt and pressed his palm against it.
His powers had been a little haywire since the whole thing with Julian and that demon thing went down. They'd been acting as if they wanted to do more, weren't happy with the way that Ashley was confining them, as if he wasn't doing enough by just using them on his stall. He always knew he could do more, he'd just never bothered to practise; being afflicted with chronic laziness and all.
"Knock off a coconut, win a prize." It was a good thing that there weren't any marks around, Lucy's blatant accusations that he was cheating would have been a surefire way for someone to demand a retrial, more shots and the quickest way to ruin Ashley's stall. "It's basically on the sign up there."
