Fred stepped into the bathroom and left the door open a crack. Taking off her robe, she reached behind her and grabbed a couple washcloths out of the cabinet behind her. After wetting them, she cleaned herself up and then dried herself off. She was just tossing the towels and washcloths in the hamper when Rupert walked in.
Leaning against him, she grinned. "Hmm, sounds like a perfect plan," she said. She looked at them in the mirror and smiled. Fred turned around in his arms and leaned up to deeply kiss him for several moments.
After breaking the kiss, Fred stepped back and pointed toward the bedroom. "I'll meet you in there," she said.
Fred left the bathroom and went back to the bedroom. Opening the top drawer of the dresser, she pulled out a nightshirt and put it on. She went to the bed and laid down. Brahms moved closer to her and curled up against her side. "It's been a long day, hasn't it?" she asked the cat as she yawned.
