Bo opened his mouth to say something about a garden, but Lisa announced her presence with a reply instead, taking the unspoken words out of his mouth. Maybe they didn't have any meat, but they could grow beans. Beans were protein and so were other fruits and vegetables. Maybe the place wouldn't smell so flawless, but they'd have food. If they got the wall up fast enough to get a garden started in time to do any good.
"She's right," he said. "The more space we secure, the more space we have to use for other things. Like a garden or whatever food sources we can figure out. The safer we are, the better."
Her help was appreciated, and it made Bo grin, but the way that Matt elbowed him at her mention of bending over had him shooting a sideways glare at the man. "We can use all the help we can get," he told her.
