Who: Alistair Whittaker & Sebastian Smythe What: Ali takes Bas on a little birthday drive and they are impossibly adoracute. Where: New York City When: Evening, December 25th Rating: SFW (for now)
New York had been utterly fantastic. Alistair was accustomed to spending the holidays with his family; something which he was not doing this year, for his parents and sister were out west, spending the holiday season in San Francisco. Although Alistair missed their presence, he knew that he was in good company on the east coast. Besides, he wanted to be here. Not only was the city utterly enchanting during Christmas, but he knew that his presence here was serving to make somebody else happy and that, in his opinion, was an excessively important aspect of the season.
It surprised him that he had forged such a close bond to Sebastian in such a short space of time. He enjoyed the other teen's company and would not have hesitated to declare him the best friend he had made at Dalton. He was rarely out of Sebastian's company and he liked it that way and, when taking into consideration that Alistair had been asked to spend the holidays with his fellow senior, it seemed that Sebastian felt the same. The trip had been a lot of fun so far and Alistair had no reservations regarding the remainder of their time in the city, especially when considering that it was Sebastian's birthday.
As pleasing as spending the day in bed would have been for both of them, Alistair thought that the birthday boy ought to at least leave the hotel at some point. There would be plenty of time for pillow talk later. Instead, he had treated Sebastian to a lavish lunch before suggesting a stroll through Central Park, with the pair of them huddled close to block out the chill. The day had been fairly subdued before Alistair, who wanted Sebastian to have a good birthday, requested that Sebastian allow him to take a few liberties and put his faith in the younger boy.
It was that request that had them sitting in one of Alistair's car, driving through the steady city traffic as night began to fall with barely a word regarding why they were there, where they were going, or what they were doing.
