Jace wasn't reluctant. He was far from that. He just wanted to make sure that Tak's decision was a solid one before doing anything else. He had already made a fool of himself that afternoon and he didn't want to do anything to repeat that. Luckily for him, the other boy did seem sure and that was good enough for Jace.
Bridging the gap between them, Jace brought his hands up and gently took hold of Tak's face, just as the other boy had done to him mere moments ago. After peering intently into the older teen's eyes, seemingly exploring their depths, he leaned up and pressed his lips intently against those before him in response to everything that had been said. Neither of them were especially good with words, it seemed, yet their actions seemed to convey the messages they were intent on giving well enough.
"If you're really sure, then what happens next?" Jace asked, breaking apart from Tak's mouth for long enough to speak before cutting off the blond's chance to reply with another, more passionate kiss.
