It had happened again. The pleasant squirm in the pit of his stomach that had only worsened with each of the previous kisses. Like some creature demanding more of them at every turn. But Tak ignored such a feeling in place of being pushed against by Jace. The blonde boy took a moment to stare at the other before him. Confusion flickered across his features a moment before realization hit him. He’d been so wrapped up in finding Jace, finding him and telling him everything he’d been thinking over the past few weeks, that upon seeing the younger boy he’d lost the thought to tell him.
With a step backwards, Tak shook his head a with a breathless grin. “Hi,” He managed with an almost embarrassed tone. A look away helped calm his breath, heart still racing Tak took only a moment to attempt to even out his breathing before continuing. “I mean,” He tried once again. “Hi.”
It hadn’t come out any better that time. He laughed, mostly to himself, or rather at himself for seemingly being unable to say much more. “Argh,” Tak grunted still grinning happily. “I mean, I’m sorry. I got caught up looking for you and when I saw you I sort of lost it.”
