I did try to stress the bond between them wherever possible -- the thought of being with someone who can be someone else is sexy, but I didn't want to diminish the actual relationship either. I've read too many fics where someone is with a partner who is polyjuiced/morphed/transfigured into someone else and it feels like the real partner isn't good enough. Which would suck.
