The sexual relation between Minerva and Tom keeps coming back at me. What at first felt simply hot, isn't so simple and not only hot either, I think now.
What I wonder about is, if what I think I'm seeing is right: that it's Minerva and not Tom who is (mostly) winning the power 'game'?
They are complicated and intense people with frustrations, which is reflected in their love life. And then there are the power issues too. Tom must be thinking it's he ho decides what happens and Minerva is 'his' and she can have what he agrees to let her have...but I'm almost sure it's very much Minerva who controls what happens. She knows how to manipulate Tom, to get what she wants. (And how desirable she'll feel to have two men crave for her like that:))

I love the depth you have woven into it.
