The characterization of James and Sirius is outstanding. Their bond was something I could see. The Black madness from inbreeding just getting its foothold in Sirius before Azkaban pushes it and Sirius completely over the edge. James' conscience is just starting to grow and manifest, even though Sirius' influence on him is still strong.
