"Me too!" said Roger, probably a little too eagerly. If he'd been working, he wouldn't have had had the good luck to run into Lavender today. He'd been on his way or already at the pitch for practice or preparing for a match. Ever since the season had hit the halfway point, he'd been keenly aware of the margin of wins between all of the top teams. It was important to him to remain focused on the squad and not letting outside distractions get the better of him too much.
Except now. Now he was with Lavender and the last thing on his mind was quidditch.
"Oh." She needed to clean. Cleaning was important, and he didn't want to pull her away from that if that's what she really needed to do. She said she could be pulled away from it, but would that be selfish on his part?
"I could... help you?" He came up with on the spot. The truth was, he didn't have anything specific in mind to do. After heading back to the flat with breakfast, he would probably bug Als or his other roommates about what was in store for the rest of the day.
