Opening her mouth to answer, she shut it again as he kept talking, and really talking. Lavender wasn’t used to hearing Roger go on like that, but it was oddly adorable. She smiled at his smile and was about t okay something again, but he was offering to go inside and get herself.
“How about this,” she offered. “I run in and pick up my order and come back, and we can walk back to your place so your housemates don’t wonder what happened to you and I don’t get blamed for them not getting their pastries.” She offered.
Lavender put a hand on his shoulder before vanishing into the bakery. It didn’t take long for her to pick up her order and a juice and head back outside to Roger. “So, up for that walk?”
