Sunday morning was always a good morning to get a pastry and Lavender was looking forward to it. It'd been a busy week at work. Lavender was starting to think that she should take another holiday, but that was off the table for a while. So, the little things in life were what mattered, especially after the night out at the new club in town. Lavender had a feeling she'd be visiting the place more and more.
Glancing up she thought she caught sight of Roger, but he turned his head away so fast that she decided maybe it wasn't him? Or perhaps he was sick of her flirting with him outrageously. She hoped not. She enjoyed the flirting and his company in general.
When he giggled though her eyes widened a little bit but only for a second, "Hey!" She smiled and stopped walking. "Pastry day, huh?"
