Pryor nodded. He'd ask the question partly out of curiosity and partly out of grasping for something to say or ask in a setting that was out of the normal comfort zone for them both or for him, at least. It was a nice event, but he suspected they would both rather be having a bit of a quieter evening than could be had in a nightclub.
"I came alone," he admitted and shrugged. "I believe Preston is around here somewhere, though." Perry, he knew without even having to look, would not have come to something like this unless someone had dragged him into it and Pryor hadn't felt the need to push, simply for the company.
