Out of the gate, Wigtown Wanderers scored seven goals. There was a moment of worry if the Harpies were not over their midseason slump. After Wanderers ARRABELLA AYERS socred the ninth goal for the Wanderers that seemed to spur the Harpies into action GREER MACDOUGAL called a time out and got her team back in it quickly. She and fellow beater GEORGIE BLETCHLEY did a fantastic job protecting their chasers and they came back swiftly with GABRIELLE NASH catching the snitch and ending the match at 350-100.
THE FACTSPOSITION - Beater SECOND POSITION - Keeper NATIONALITY - Scottish AGE - 33 MARITAL STATUS - Single STRANGE FACT - Loves apple soda and makes his own. STRANGE FACT - Is an avid gardner and will talk about worms all day long.Getting to know SAXON ELLIS isn't as easy as one might expect. He will talk a lot about some things but not others. "I like it with Puddlemere," he said after being asked twice. "It's a good team, and even though the start of the season was shit, we got back to it. and that's what matters." When we asked about his current favourite plant, he did get more chatty. "I've been working with some Witches' Butter, muggles eat it too, but it's got some cool properties and growing it so interesting. It's got no flavour, which is weird but people do eat it for all kinds of things."
"There were some interesting close games today. I was most impressed with how Pride of Portree kept it together. I know Appleby Arrowshave bee struggling, so it wasn't the most interesting match on that front, but the Pride chasers looked to find good rhythm for the first time that I hope they can keep up going forward." He said about exciting games. "I was a little surprised that Puddlemere didn't have a better showing against the Bats, they looked a little disjointed. And the Magpies had a tough one against the Falcons, but that was a lucky catch by DARIUS SHACKHAMMER."
