The players who were traded do seem to be settling into their new teams. SAMANTHA CHAMBERS looked much more relaxed playing with the Magpies than she had her whole time with the Falcons. There was an ease in the way she flew. She also scored all of the goals the Magpies had. ANGELINA JONHSON spoke about it after the match. "It's been a weird year for the Magpies. Personally, it's been hard not playing with Alicia, and now with Katie gone as well, but I couldn't be happier that Sam's with us now, she fits in just right and I think she's going to make a big impact on the rest of our season."
"We weren't planning on trading CORMAC MCLAGGEN, and in fact, we didn't want to trade him, but some of it wasn't up to us and some of the salary caps, potential next season logistics made it happen. We love Cormac and wish him the best. We're also pleased with the three new players who joined us." A Kenmare spokesperson commented. The league wasn't surprised to see TRACEY DAVIS leave the Falcons after the drama earlier in the year, however it was surprising to see CASSIUS WARRINGTON join her in the move and land himself right back with Kenmare. In typical fashion, he just shrugged when asked a question about how he felt about it.
"I'm impressed at how well KATIE BELL has so far adjusted to playing in a different style. Kenmare has a very different style from the Magpies, and she's seemed to settle in quickly. She had some of her best passing of the year. It was nice to see her focus on that aspect of the game."
