Declan wasn't stupid, despite what some people might think. He knew who Arthur's family was, and their feelings about anyone who wasn't a pureblood or anything that didn't have to do with magic. But Declan was a halfblood himself, and his life was with other magic people as well as muggles. He wasn't going to ignore it.
Despite his anxiety at Arthur's possible reaction to his plans, Declan couldn't help but find the bewilderment and confusion somewhat endearing. "They can't see it," he confirmed, the corners of his mouth tilting up. "It's made so they'll leave it alone." He followed Arthur's gaze on the woman and nodded. "They can see us, but they're too busy to care. Same as the crowds in Diagon, they just push past and go on with their day."
Biting his lip, Declan took a step away from the disguised entrance to the Alley, putting himself closer to the muggle world. "Is this... can I show you around?"
