With all the death happening, Nyx sat uneasy. He promised Beatrix that he'd not go out alone, and at night at that. He saw no reason to risk the times outside the hotel, especially for little reward. During the whole New York thing, they both were unarmed and had to find some sort of weapons to defend themselves, but now they had those- and he his kukri. Which he was quite armed with now, with the events happening. Someone had died in their room not long ago.
But, despite all that, Nyx followed the best he could of the events going on, and this night he knew someone was watching over the dead. For what reason, he wasn't clear on exactly, but it was something to do with changing? That wasn't something he was familiar with, so maybe this Jinn who was taking the night shift could explain it better. Then he would inform Beatrix.
Walking through the third floor, with a cup of coffee in hand for the man on watch, because that was just nice to have, the glaive walked into the ice rink to watch the horrors. First he was a man, and his eyes raised in surprise while he watched frozen in step. Not a lot stopped the man, but this was one. The shift of man to beast was violent to say the least. He had forgotten that he was there as a bystander before Nyx instinctively gripped the kukri on his right thigh making a noise of belt clasps rustling.
Now he was staring eye to eye with a beast. Hand on weapon, left holding a piping hot cup of coffee. The strangest standoff he had ever been in.
"He man..." Nyx almost pleaded. He didn't want to fight. "You still in there?" He took an instinctive step back. "Uh, bark twice if you understand me?" He hoped. Gods he hoped.
