The wolf yelped as Octane landed on him with his full body mass. It was that sound as much as the charge in the air that alerted Elektra to another presence. She spun, dagger poised to take out her enemy's jugular, and saw instead Octane, sandwich in hand, eating and waving. Standing on a still-twitching werewolf.
The pained sounds were a little much, so Elektra stomped on the creature's throat to quiet it down. That didn't stop her glaring at Octane. "What, and I cannot stress this enough, the fuck?"
Before he could swallow and answer her - or worse, do it with his mouth full, showing off flecks of half-chewed sandwich - Elektra glimpsed movement from the corner of her eye. It was the humanoid kind, so she swapped sai blade for the handy stake her roommate had gifted her, and was ready when the vampire descended on them with a brilliant but ultimately useless vaulting jump.
Stabbing people through the heart was a little more work than Elektra was used to, but she was getting the hang of it. Unfortunately, between Octane's arrival and her exploits, the remaining werewolves and vampires were beginning to take notice.
