In the time they were apart, Conrad was able to reflect on what had happened. The lightheadedness wore off. He ate, he hydrated himself. He slept. And with the clarity that followed, one might have assumed that Conrad would have been a little more freaked out by the whole ordeal. But no, he insisted that he - that they - could handle this. Conrad was a rational man. He really didn't lose his head about things, if he didn't need to. And Pree needed his help. All the more reason to be sensible about all of this.
Sadly, there were no books in the library on vampirism. None that he could find, anyway. And even if he were able to locate them, who knew if that information was correct..
Either way, the next morning, when he heard a knock at his door, he immediately came over to answer. Since Wes had a tendency to sleep in and Mike didn't need to knock, the list of people who could be on the other side was pretty short.. He smiled when he realized it was Pree, though.
"Oh, Pree, hang on --" Conrad rushed over to his window, tugging his drapes closed. "Alright, come in! How are you feeling?"
