Oh no. Oh no. It clicked all too fast in Conrad's head. The appearance of those teeth..
Vampires were something Conrad assumed were fiction. Or rather, would have assumed in the past. After Skull Island, after being here at the Crown Plaza for so long, Conrad had pretty much thrown all sense of logic out the window. Vampires were real. And one of them had clearly gotten ahold of Pree.
There wasn't really time to be sad over what had happened to his friend, nor could Conrad run to the hotel library to see if there was a "How to Take Care of Your Vampire" instruction guide. He just had to use whatever pre-existing knowledge he had from films and novels, regardless of whether or not that information was accurate.
"Pree -- are you aware of what's happened to you?" Probably not, if Conrad had to guess. He seemed a bit delirious. Which likely indicated that he hadn't fed. Okay. Think, Conrad, think. Pree needed blood. Now. Otherwise, his friend might wind up even worse off here soon. He waved a dismissive hand, silently telling Pree to disregard that question. "Here, just.. bite me." He lifted his wrist to Pree's mouth. Even if Pree didn't understand what was going on, surely some sort of vampiric instinct would kick in, right?
