People throughout the hotel were so upset about the loss of family and friends. As a family-oriented people pleaser, she found herself feeling sad and worried over the other residents of Crown Plaza, even if she didn't know them very well at all. A number of young people in recent days had posted over the network regrets about not spending more precious time with lost parents. Still others expressed their homesickness.
In light of all that, Molly found herself missing Arthur more than ever. She had more or less accepted the fact that she was stuck here for the foreseeable future, after hearing from many others, some who have been around for much longer, upon her arrival that there was nothing to be done. Perhaps she ought to have not taken them at their word and fought harder to find a way to get home to her beloved husband, but she had felt slightly more reassured learning that life back home would continue on as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. Arthur wouldn't know she was gone, and they would continue living out their newlywed lives together. In the shadow of a brewing Wizarding war, to be sure, but she suspected that was coming all along. Part of the reason she and Arthur had been so keen on getting married after Hogwarts that they eloped. They certainly hadn't been the only ones.
It was more reassuring still to have met others from her world here, however briefly, as the most of them seemed to be from her future. She's heard of others talking about different versions of people from alternate realities and timelines, but from what she gathered, it didn't seem like any of those who were familiar with her world were alternate versions of themselves. No one seemed to contradict one another, as far as she had noticed. It was strange to be 20-years-old, newly married, and not with child to know she was mother and grandmother to those who seemed to be more or less her own age in the here and now. However, the upside was it also told her that she would survive the looming war to come. Molly now knew that she would have many children grow to at least schooling age, and some beyond, old enough to have children of their own. That was all she could hope for as a wife and mother.
With her wand in her possession and a recently appeared bookshelf full of magical tomes from home, Molly decided she was going to take her mind off troubles for a bit by distracting herself in the kitchen. Back home, it was one of her favorite places to be. She figured she could make something good to eat to cheer up her son George, who was melancholy about missing his twin brother Fred. Perhaps she could offer some to the adult version of her 10-year-old cousin by marriage Sirius and that Slytherin Potions master Severus Snape who had at least been kind enough to indulge her curiosity about what her many children were like in school. She didn't know how the Muggles and other folk around here might feel about her cooking, but if they were interested, she could always make a large enough batch to share with Henry and any others who might want to try some.
Armed with One Minute Feasts - It's Magic!, Molly had barely stepped into the kitchen, noting that it was already occupied, before she heard the cry of pain form the kitchen's other occupant. "Oh no, are you alright?!" She rushed forward while taking out her wand, ready to heal the other girl.
