"What if it does?" Bonnie said looking up at him. "It can't leave us in a worse position than we are right now, can it?" she eased herself up and her fingers went to the necklace Enzo had given her. "I thought about using this so many times, but I wasn't sure if you'd come back. The Other Side has gone and I didn't want to drag you into something much worse," she said with a frown. "But if you're here, then I could use it," and try as she might she wanted to hold onto him as tight and for as long as she could, but her thoughts were filled with new possibilities.
Bonnie smiled and gave his cheek a gentle stroke, "when did you become the sensible one in this relationship?" she asked gently teasing him. "I'll try not to push too hard, but I also know I want you with me until I die," wherever and whenever that might be. "One day at a time, for now," she agreed with Enzo and gave him a soft kiss. "See, I knew you'd be happy to resume tuition. We'll have to find one here," Bonnie said with a soft chuckle.
