Soma. It was not something Molly had ever heard of before. Not that Molly considered herself all that worldly, for a witch and a pureblooded one at that. Still, she didn't know anything about something called soma.
When the man stood up, swaying on his feet, Molly lurched forward instinctively, worried about him collapsing. Fortunately, he righted himself on his own. A good thing, since Molly wasn't entirely sure she could support the weight of another person. She would have to levitate him or something and she wasn't sure how he felt about the use of magic on his person when it wasn't a measure of lifesaving necessity.
"Careful," she warned. "You should probably take a Blood-Replenishing Potion before you try to run off anywhere. And um..." Molly hated being the bearer of bad news. "The front door to the hotel is over that way." She gestured in the general direction. "But you won't be able to leave. Not really. You can leave the building and there are grounds outside you can get around, but there's a boundary point and from there, we can't get anywhere. We can't go home."
