"It's a ... ghost," he said, as if this was normal. "Because Hemlock Grove feels right," he said with a sneer. "And someone should answer that damn phone." He tried to think straight. "You answer the phone, I'll talk to the ghost." He knew all about Peter and superstitions, and Destiny wasn't here, making it Roman's job.
He left Peter to deal with the phone, and he asked plenty of questions to the ghost. When Peter came back, they had two room numbers, and stories that made no sense at all, except his arm had healed faster than it should have and they were remembering two different point in times.
"As soon as we figure this out, I'll remember how pissed I am with you," he said. "I can't believe you'd leave me, and now- Some weird hotel in some strange dimension, taking people from different times and realities. This is weird, right? I'm not just very high."
