"You can be anything you want, because you are Sirius Black. The sooner his brother remembered the fact, the faster he'd get back to normal, because regardless of his loyalties, Sirius had never been humble.
Regulus pinched his nose. "Did I even mention the Potters?" No, because Regulus knew how to pick his battles and he knew he'd lose that one. On the other hand, Potter was gone and it made no sense to remind Sirius of that if Regulus wanted his brother to stay. "Maybe it is and maybe it isn't. I don't know, but Sirius, you just admitted that you don't know either. I'm not saying stay here forever. I'm saying get those stones and stay here until you feel more like yourself and then you can make a rational choice. Right now, you aren't thinking straight."
The pop stopped him for a moment. Kreacher appeared with a tray of hot chocolate and tea and enough chocolate chip biscuits to get them sick on sugar. Kreacher sensed that something was wrong, because he didn't even grumble at Sirius, disapparating just as quickly.
"Here, have the hot cocoa." Regulus poured it into the tea cups. The hot cocoa was thick and dark, made with real chocolate and none of those watery versions he'd seen on occasion. "You need more chocolate. You know it helps." He passed the cup to Sirius before reaching for his. "You know, we could try something different. Instead of avoiding each other, we could try and talk, see if it helps. It can't be any worse than it is now."
