At least Regulus seemed his normal self, ready to complain about the connection that had been forced upon him for the last week too. That in itself was at least a calming dose of reality for him, to know that for all that he felt tilted off balance Regulus was still as he'd left him. "I guess it's for the best that you two are able to go your own ways now."
His mouth turned downward when his brother asked him about Snape and whether or not they'd been busy. That was one word for it, he wondered what Snape had done in the days since his death, if he'd been trapped with his corpse or if his death had freed him from the tie that had bound them together in the first place. He wasn't sure he'd ever get the chance to ask, or if he even wanted to for that matter.
"I could stand to have some tea." For all that Kreacher reminded him of a life he'd left behind, that kind of familiarity was something that felt like it would settle him a little bit more.
