If the hotel magic sucks, that doesn't mean my magic sucks. This hotel is not my world. Its magic is not my magic.

There are different types of magic. Just because you've known bad magic in your universe that doesn't make all magic in other universes bad.

There are people without magic who do bad things. That doesn't make me think all people without magic are bad.
