A chuckle came from Nyx. It was surely going to be a good fight between them if or more importantly, when it happened. Sounded like they both had been fighting at their fullest and hardest for a long while. The bigger difference was experience of time. Though she was younger and surely more agile than he was. It would be a tough experiment to decide. "Well, neither of us are going to die." Nyx commented. Vague promise at best.
Nodding, he remembered some of those days being a refugee and bunking with other people from his village. "Oh trust me. I've spent my fair amount of time on a dirty floor of a forest." Some of the Glaive missions went a long distance off, and you didn't always get the luxury of comfortable living standards. "Well, now this is a treat. These are some pretty fantastic showers." Nyx commented with a laugh. "Huh, oh, most of my adulthood." Thinking about it he really had trouble putting years to the timing, but he had a bar in Galahd before Niflheim, and then he joined the Kingsglaive and now it was his sole focus. "Over a decade maybe?" He shrugged. Length of time was unimportant.
He was playing around, but now they were talk logistical possibilities. "It still does." Nyx commented. "Does that make a person less serious or less capable- no. Capability only comes from experience or training. Someone who suffers early in life," He gestured to her with his hand. "And takes that pain and puts it towards honing a set of skills makes the fighter." Nodding. "Despite your age, and my joke calling you a kid, doesn't make you any less a dangerous combatant. If I were to lose to you, I wouldn't see shame, I would be impressed and I'd learn from it." Shaking his head. "It sounds awful. The Diamond Weapons that Niflheim controlled, launched missiles and simply rained down destruction." Nyx could still see the fires in his head.
"Why do you talk to the ones who are teaching the kids around here. I'm sure they would take you in and help you understand and give you an education." Nyx laughed. "Then when you learn about the science stuff- you can teach me." Because he was now too set in his own ways to consider education at this point.
"Stones?" He paused thinking. "Oh, no, I do not. I figure if my time is up, then it's up." He shrugged.
