"If you beat me." Nyx commented with a coy smile. There wasn't a doubt that Nyx knew just how Mikasa held herself she would be formidable, but he knew his own abilities intimately and he knew he too would give his all. It would be a fun training session. "Just remember when I win, you can cry." He teased lightly.
It had been so long at this point that he fought Niflheim initially and then going through the Glaive training. It was all second nature that he really didn't know if he knew any other way to live. "We didn't have bunks. Kingsglaive and Crownsguard were scattered around the city at any given are. We all had our own living situations, usually apartments, but we had a central training ground and armory we operated out of." He considered. "But we had both men and women in our force, so that doesn't bother me any." He thought about those he fought with. Those that betrayed the crown ultimately and joined Niflheim. Nyx buried it deep.
"Think you a kid?" He shrugged. "I mean, you're obviously battle hardened," Nyx made a gesture. "But you're still just a kid compared to me." He winked back. "We dealt with a force that had monsters attack our city and in a night left the city in ruins." He helped the destruction, but he drastically hurt the Niflheim war machine in the end. "Weapons of that power are dangerous." He concluded regarding anything that could wipe a civilization of the face of the planet.
"I agree," Nyx commented. "If I'm here, I rather meet people and learn different cultures. Make friends and comrades. What purpose would it serve if you don't?" It seemed logical, but to some they just rather their own limited bubble. Listening to Mikasa, Nyx made a thoughtful hum. "That's a very acute observation. I personally don't know anything on the theory of what I've been told, like a multi-dimensional or whatever. It's all new to me, but I know that I would be dreadfully upset if a certain few I've gotten to know here suddenly vanished." Mikasa was a quick growing name on that list.
