Abigail was used to humour in dark and potentially dark situations. Hannibal's dry quips were often much more disturbing than Ben's light jokes. She wasn't up to joking back, but she was calming down. That had to be a form of showing appreciation at his attempts to lighten the mood.
Abigail shook her head. "Candy for breakfast?" She teased, finally able to joke. "Maybe I'll make you some high life eggs." The ways of the force. She had heard something similar to that before, from other hotel guests. There were so many different powers around. "You have really quick reflexes then." She could react quickly too, when she was hunting, but not on the scale of catching someone who fell by surprise. She might have caught Bloom and pulled her up again. She couldn't allow herself to think too long on that.
Abigail nodded. "Right. See you around." She turned and began walking back to the hotel, planning on getting properly dressed and then maybe actually making that breakfast. A sudden sensation of being pulled backwards struck her. She dismissed it as some remaining part of her dream. After all, she couldn't see anything tugging her backwards. She took stronger steps, determined to get inside and take a long shower to wake herself up fully.
